I have been
to South Korea three times. The first trip was in 2001, and let's
just say it wasn't the best. (You can read about it here
if you're interested.) Even though my first Korean experience
wasn't that great, I found that the Korean countryside was beautiful,
the temples and parks were incredible sights, taekwondo was quite
a lot of fun, and the food was utterly delicious. Luckily for
me, a more recent job gave me the opportunity to return to South
Korea for two months in the spring
of 2004. Granted, I spent the bulk of my time working,
but I was still able to do a lot of exploring and I got to do
many of the things I missed out on during my first trip. In August
of 2006 I returned to South Korea yet again, having once
more decided to try my hand at ESL in Korea. I spent thirteen
wonderful months living and working in Korea, during which time
I had plenty of opportunities for exploration and photography.
